Urban Terrace
The wall pattern is a design element that defines the korea village boundary. The traditional window frame is an important factor in determining the exterior shape. The Korean traditional louver ‘Bal’ blurs the boundary between private and public spaces. The voided terrace space is used as a design element to form an urban commercial street. The voided terrace space has the effect of creating a dynamic commercial street.
어반테라스
어반테라스는 주거민에게 외부의 개인적인 공간을 제공하며, 더 나아가 안뜰로 진출을 도모한다. 입면디자인의 모티브는 한국의 경계를 구분하는 요소 중 전통 담장, 창살을 모티브로 설정했으며, 상업의 주 거리로 활성화 될 입면은 담장, 주거와 거주민들의 공동체 공간인 안뜰 입면은 창살로 디자인 하여, 이로써 외부인과 혼재되는 거리와 거주민의 공동체 생활의 위한 공간을 빌딩월의 파사드로 경계를 구분 짓는다.
