Based on Green-Culture-Civilized-Modern, Hanoi Master established development strategies. Hanoi is composed of Center Urban, 5 Satellite urban areas, 3 Eco-townships, and Rural area based on functional zonings according to the potential elements of Hanoi, the Existing urban area, Economic corridor, and Area of Mountains & National Parks. With introducing concept of “Green Corridor”, 70% of total area of Hanoi was kept as Green Corridor. Through the harmony between Conservation area and Development area, Hanoi Master Plan is proposed as a sustainable capital plan for balanced and sustainable development.
